Taking on the Mallorca 312

25 April 2020

Nick's cycling challenge has been postponed until next year.

Can you imagine cycling 312 km with a total of 5,050 meters of climbing in one single day? Well, that’s exactly what Nick Smith has committed to do.

Nick is undertaking this mammoth task and is busy training on every hill he can find in Hampshire, and repeating it 20 times! And that’s just his warm up...

Mallorca 312 Map

The 312km route the intrepid cyclists will take

The Mallorca 312 is an annual closed-road sportive ride that takes place in and around the Serra Tramuntana mountains of Mallorca, Spain. The 2020 event takes place on 25 April and 8000 riders will be taking on the loop through the  Serra Tramuntana mountains and out to the northeast of the island. The fastest riders are expected to complete the course in around 9 hours, the cut off is 14 hours. In 2017 22 percent of the riders didn't finish the course - it's that tough.

This Cameron Bespolka Trust is very close to my heart. I have supported them through a number of challenges over the last few years and am very proud to take on this most daunting bike ride to support them once again.

Nick Smith

We are incredible grateful to Nick for undertaking this huge, grueling challenge. Please support him and encourage him by sponsoring him.
