RSPB Wildart Competition

We are delighted to team up with RSPB to encourage more young people enter this fabulous competition to observe wildlife by creating a unique piece of art. So be creative and let your creative juices flow.

We're looking for talented young artists to enter this exciting competition, where your artwork could be displayed with art by the top wildlife artists in the UK.

What to do
Create a beautiful picture of any wildlife you like (but not creatures in zoos or cages, or pets). You can be as imaginative as you like, but please try drawing wildlife you see in real life. Experiment with different materials - the eco-friendlier the better!

When your masterpiece is finished, write your name, age and address on the back and send it to
WildArt, RSPB Wildlife Explorers The Lodge, Sandy Bedfordshire SG19 2DL.

The competition is split into under 8s, 8-12 years, and 13-17 years inclusive. Visit rspb.org.uk/wildart for full terms and conditions.

The closing date for entries is 16 August 2019

The prizes
The winner in each age group will receive an art gift voucher worth £100 and their picture will be displayed at The Society of Wildlife Artists Natural Eye exhibit from 24 October to 3 November 2019. Six runners-up will each win a £25 art voucher. A Richie Richardson award, and £100 book voucher, will also be given for the most accurately drawn animal. The winning and runner-up pictures will be printed in wild times, Wild Explorer or Wingbeat magazine.
